With this award, Volkswagen AG has honored the very good working relationship with DUNLOP TECH GmbH, the original parts supplier of the Tire Mobility Kit fitted and sold by the VW Group under the name Tire Mobility System (TMS). Decisive for selection as the OT Supplier of the Year is the fulfillment of criteria such as delivery of the exact quantities ordered, punctuality, flexibility and communication within the framework of the logistics process. “We are delighted to have been chosen for this award, which makes it clear that it is not only the quality of the product that counts but also that interrelated processes, such as the procurement of feedstock and materials, production and making-up and delivery of the goods, must function with 100-percent efficiency”, says Björn Kleint, who accepted the award on behalf of DUNLOP TECH GmbH.

The DUNLOP TECH Tire Mobility Kit is developed and made in Germany. Automobiles of the following VW marques are fitted with this system: Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat, Skoda and VW. The Volkswagen Group is one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers and the biggest in Europe. The company also plans to be the leader in economic and ecological terms by 2018.
